These pictures were taken about 1 minute after Zach fell off of a kitchen stool and knocked his head on the tile. He had an immediate goose egg on his head that was purple/black. I was really nervous about it, but we put some ice on it and he acted fine. Now he sports a nasty looking yellowish bruise. By the way, this happened the day after Jake shaved his head, so it was very very noticable. People were surprised to see his naked head, but always asked about the bump first.

Oh my, for SAD. That looks like it really hurts. I am starting the think I need to put a perma-helmet on Nick, maybe Zach needs one too!!!!
Ouch! It's so hard to see your little ones get bumped, but I think as a boy mom it kind of comes with the territory!
I love that you took this one minute after he got the bump! (FYI I would've done the same thing.) :) What great moms we are. Moments like these NEED to be documented. I am so glad he is okay, it's a scary looking bump!
